    :o

odeon have updated their website, after nearly five years of the same IE-or-NS4-only mess.

    clicky clicky: www.odeon.co.uk

this not only closes one of the longest-standing bugs in Mozilla's broken websites section (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80479, over 5 years on record), not only renders fine in Gecko, KHTML Webcore and the like... but...

even works in crappy text-only browsers

    Code:

I found this sentence to be pretty funny.

"We have been busy behind the scenes creating this new improved website with extra great benefits!"

    'bout time too

I'm sure you're not being off there directhex, but I'm guessing those "crappy text-only browsers" are mainly used by the visually impaired - yet another reason to deride over-designed flash-based websites.

the new booking system *is* over-designed & flash-based - there just happens to be a fallback to text-only. the old site was under-designed & written entirely in javascript...

Now I'm thanksful for that. Maybe I can convince the missus to use FF all of the time now

Now all we need to do is Get DFI, MSI and the likes to get their websites to work properley with FF
