i ordered this card at the weekend:

clearly states its the "goes like hell" edition but as ive just taken delivery of it its only a golden sample which is the next model down.

just been on the phone to ebuyer and they just said send it back and we`ll give you a refund i dont want a refund i want the card that i thought i had ordered.

tbh id just get a refund and get it over with. if they dont have any stock of th glh edition then youre sol, they have no legal obligation to supply it if they offer you a refund as far as im aware.

yeah some people claim you can sue for 'loss of a bargin' but thats pap. if ebuyer wont budge just take your refund

When you send it back you have to get proof and post it with it. You just tell the person
at the post office and they give you a reciept. You keep one and you put the other
in the box. They then credit you the cost of that.

Not much you can do but make sure you get your money back for posatge cost

that pap worked for me with ebuyer.

theres a difference between them giving in and it actually being legally binding - if you can provide court precidence i'd be very surprised

Trading standards and a kind lecturer of mine who has a PHD in computer science, whislt also having a doctorate in law greatly helped.

the problem always hinges on when the contract is accepted, and whats just an invitation to treat.

they really didn't want to give me the 4 TFTs it seamed, but they caved in at the last minuite before facing small claims, also VISA where on my side.

you must remeber that whilst in some cases taking the money is acceptance of contract, its not always so... aparently, the line on that one seams very hazy to me. (iPSP's and the like not been the company)
