Top Gear Euro NCAP results - scary

Just been watching Top Gear on UKTV G2+1 going through the Euro NCAP ratings - scary!! My 98 Escort has a two out of five rating, which is barely any use at all.

that said i'd love a tank when theres a rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish who dosen't see the filter light, yes the main ones red, but our lane can go. A little bit of T-54 action might make them pay attention.

The 2004 Clio does alright quite impressed the car is that safe considering the clio has plastic front panels that a fly could snap if it tried.

Renault Megane - 4 stars... Get in

There are worse cars out there, and there's not much that matches it for space and versatility. Yeah, it's bigger than the Titanic and a touch less manouvarable, but it fits seven , several pieces of luggage and a couple of pushchairs. It's a Grand Voyager Diesel Turbo, and better than the last people carrier we had, at least on the inside, a Renault Espace (which with that awful interior that makes it look like a transit van)....It's a newer version than the 99 model, which is supposed to be safer, although not as good as the new one, which is reckoned to be very good.

off the top of my head my mondie gets 3* which is decent enough for its age
