    Sempron 939

Hello, does anybody know when/if the AMD sempron series will be available for Socket 939? Will it be made available on the upcoming AM2 socket aswell?

    Thanks in advance!

It already exists afaik but only available to a couple of very large system integrators.

just wondering why you would want a sockey 939 sempron when the athlon 64 3200 are relatively cheap (either that or an opty)?

hello, I want to have a very cheap CPU in a budget system I am planning to build, but want the option to upgrade later if need be to a higher spec CPU like the A64 3200+. A 939 board and sempron 939 will cater for these needs.

Would it make more sense for the mainstream semprons to go straight from 754 to AM2?
