    Remember, spaces are crucial!

Cos when you're writing an email, where you put the spaces make all the difference...

"but then", lacking a space becomes "butthen"... go back, accidentally put the space in the wrong place and hit send too soon and you send out an email with the words "butt hen", which utterly changes how things look...

I can read it when the conversation is written using real english and no spaces. however if you use 'text language' or 'shortened english' then I start to have problems....

interesting. never seen them compared before like that.

However it would take me more time to type in text that is does for normal english

    txt speak just confuses me...

me too, i mostly use proper words in txt messages too, unless i got like 5-8 characters over the 160 so to save it being two messages i scour through it an try to change all the words, takes ages lol

Plus, there isn't really a universal txt language, so what one person uses might be completely baffling to the next.
