    Girls say the best things...

I was speaking to my girlfriend about starwars and she said this:

A - What was that jibba jabba bloke called?

Me - you mean Jabba the hutt?

A- That's it, does he have a roof? Why do they use lightsticks to fight?
oh dear, someone will be watching Star Wars tonight

my girlfriend has already been educated...she lives with this bloke who's completely starwars mad & has made her sit through every one of them...although she did fall asleep before the duel of fates scene in episode 1!
If a man talks in a forest & there's no woman around....
    Is he STILL wrong?

the other half only saw the original trilogy a year ago, and hasnt seen any of the new ones, (although i wish i could burn phantom menace from my brain). I dont really see what the big deal is, star wars isnt _that_ great, its good, but not great.

Star Wars is part of my youth, and as such will always be loved (how can you fall asleep before the Duel of the Fates music, never mind the fight itself!!). I will always have problems with Phantom Menace, Vader is too short in Revenge of the Sith, and need I mention "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....". But these are small nitpicks, the series is, and always will be, a classic story.

I'd rather go out with a girl that didn't know star wars well because -

    A) It means she's not a geek.

    and

    B) It means I get to show her.

so flippin what if "ANYONE" doesn't know about star wars.....if so, good for them....if not, it aint the end of the epping cosmos.

by far the most overrated movies ever (everytime there's a vote on which is the best films, guaranteed it's the star wars geeks that make sure it's up there) - Id rather meet someone who could intellictually contructively critisize star wars than someone who whoreships Jedi, or the main trilogy. Yes, this goes to all those who, in the census, named their religion as "Jedi". I did enjoy eps 4-6, but c'mon tae ****.

indian [prana]. japanese [ki]. chinese [chi]. star wars....[jedi].

I love Star Wars. They were part of my yoof!

They are some of my favourite films of all time.

The missus has seen em and says they're "ok". But she doesn't like Sci-Fi.

*looks at Female watching "How to lose a guy in 10days" for the 15th time*

    Point proven tbh^

Does that make me not a geek then?

That's sort of a contradiction in terms in my book....
