    Do not call phone register?

Does anyone have details of who we register our phone number to in order to stop all the sales calls?

Bulldog have been phoning us every other day to sell us 8mb broadband!

Signing up here reduced our sales calls significantly (we do still get a few though)

And to make it an almost complete block use tps and get BT to block all calls that withhold their number. Not totally complete as I still get calls from my family requesting I help them with a PC problem .

They must be doing the rounds again.

They rang us at weekend and in a bit of a sorry state I made the poor guy waste 45 minutes before I asked him to check the system and tell me who my ISP was.

That worked a treat, he apologised for ringing and was extremely polite, even when I was timewasting and was slurring my S's a bit

The TPS service is really effective, and there's a junk mail one too, if getting lots of pointless post offends you (it's called the Mailing Preference Service, and you can get to it through the TPS site).

Now, all I need is a service that employs someone to walk in front of you and say "No thanks, mate" to clipboard warriors and big issue sellers in the street.
