Royal Mail for everything ive ever ordered, not sure about really large packages.
thats what i thought, only problem is i want to order a nice big fat sub and speakers from them, and i work 8-6 mon-fri so im not at home to take order (work stopped letting us have stuff delivered there - think it took the piss when i had 12 packages arrive in one day which included 2x full tower cases)
for royal mail i usually just ring and arrange re-delivery on saturday for nothing, but if its parcelFARCE or most other couriers they charge for extra for saturday deliveries which takes away the point of free deliv

Make sure to sit on your doorstep all day waiting for it, they have a habit of not being arsed to ring and just leaving stuff outside your house.
so it is royal mail then?Originally Posted by Norky

Amazon usually use Royal Mail for regular items (CDs etc.) and parcel force for larger packages.
I'm trying to remember who delivered my Sony head unit at the end of last year, but can't. Don't think it was either of them as it came direct from Sony or their UK distributer as opposed to Amazon themselves. It was delivered to work so didn't have to go and collect it.
Amazon send things no signature required.Originally Posted by johnny02004976
Agreed. I got my mp3 player off Amazon and it was delivered by DHL. Id only been living at my house at uni for a week so i accidentaly put the address as 77 rather than 87, realised when the conformation email came, emailed amazon who said it had already gone out via DHL so they couldn't do anything about it, rang DHL who bsaically said thats my problem not theres - thing is nobody lived number 77 so i didnt know when they would deliver it or what would happen since nobody was in to sign for it. DHL wouldnt tell me what was going on so i just had to keep hanging around outside number 77 until it came...luckily the next door neighbours to 77 had seen the guy knocking, known nobody lived there and taken it off him, so i finally got it a week laterOriginally Posted by Whiternoise

I've had stuff from Amazon via Royal Mail left outside the house before! It's like "Hi, please come and nick my CDs." On the other hand, my Sony DVD recorder came via Parcel Force IIRC, and pretty early in the morning too.
well i put my order in, hopefully it wont get left on my doorstep

For me, it's Royal Mail for smaller stuff like CDs, games and books. Parcel force for larger orders and if you use the Amazon jersey it's been DHL. Oh yeah those on the Amazon Market use a selection of couriers one popular I've found is DHL.
Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
