    NTL proxys screwed agen ?

    me and a few mates on ntl are having serious problems atm getting to sites most of them cant get on hexus lol. anyone elseo n ntl experiencing problems

    I've got no problems with sites like Hexus, Bit-tech, Kustom etc. but I'm having probs with Google & eBay.

    wooo i can get one ebay now but not google

    EDIT ok spoke to soon loaded ebay home page clicked search and it died :'(

    EDIT AGEN ok it seems to be fixed now hope it lasts

    edit: btw tried on Tiscali & it's Google & eBay that are porked as i couldn't get them on that either.

    Hosed here. Sometimes pages load, sometimes doesn't. Friends in Cambridge, Leeds, Oldham and Manchester all phoned/texted asking me if I knew of a problem (I don't work for NTL, I work for Pipex.. but apparently I may have super secret knowledge bout t'internet).

    Looks pretty shafted across their network to me.

    ah that would be why flickr wouldn't work earlier and my parents couldn't d/l skype then
    AMD3000+ ATIX800XL + GBNF44x mobo.. all at stock because they're good enough atm + CA A1 amp-->Mission 73S Loigtech MX1000 + 1GB ram + 1/3 TB HD array
    Wintendo XP + Linux (when it works) .. just incase you were wondering

    i havent been able to get on the net at all from when i got home at 9 strange cos it worked fine at 6 just out curiosity did ne try to phone up ntl tech support to see what was goin on, cos i tried and it goes on and on about rubbish that i dont wanna hear then finally it got to the message about were havin probs, y not put it at the beginning i mean jez

    seems to be working ok now here, fleabay and google are ok now.

    You can override your proxy by using another one in a different region that does work : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d...cache.html#ntl
