    Credit Card advice thread

Just wondering since i don't know much on the subject. Are most credit cards the same? Should i look to get with a particular company that provides an outstanding service or are they all pretty generic?

And yes, i realise the debt problems you can get into with credit cards, so i just want to know what cards people recommend. Interest free periods would be ideal

www.fool.co.uk is a good one too.

I recently got the new Tesco one, as it's 0% on purchases until january which will come in handy for the new flat. (and i'm a sucker for tesco points!)

    egg cards! www.egg.com

i love 5% cashback on currys purchases + 1% usual cashback on egg money

also agreed with tiggerai on tesco cards, especially if you shop in tescos a lot.
