Arrow Anyone seen / got / used a Func?

I'm interested in a Func 1030 in black, but its a lot of money for a mouse mat : /

I just wanna know if anyones used them, what they are like, and how good they really are. I currently have a fast-mat (the ones with the plastic stuff over a picture) and need an extremely low-friction surface for my optical mouse.

If anyone has pics of them, please post up

Also wheres a nice cheap place to buy them?

I use a wooden desk for my mouse, don't see why you need equipment like that, the increase in performance must be negligable?

My desk is melomime [sp?] white. The perfect no-no for optical mice, reflective AND bright white.

I HAVE to use a mouse mat. I also need something black or black and silver to go with the rest of my desk. My current mousey mat is red and yellow with cheese on it ( : / ) and i get the cursor flying around the screen every so often due to the mousemat methinks.

I tried a £1.30 job from maplins, but its a pile o pap and smells odd. Need something with next to no friction for my cs

What mouse u got? I bought an IceMat Black recently, and it doesn't work very well with my MouseMan Dual Optical. It's very smooth though, I wish it did work properly

Used to have one, too frictionless for my liking.

Then again, I hate everglide and ratpad

Now using a £3 one from lindy, tasty... bunji the legend :E

Odd, I was thinking more along the lines of Crap Alienware logo

Not exactly the most attractive of logos on the planet is it? Also not too sure Bigman would want to associate himself with such a company

Id rather have one with a crap logo on for £16 less, than pay the extra for the proper logo on it.

Hmmm, if the logo washes off that makes it sound alot better.

But, without a metal tin it just isn't a func now is it? It's just some silly mousemat that you picked up on the cheap from Alienware!
    Metal Tin everyone!
