Am under directions to do our garden up, and on the list is to get a new shed. We will be selling the house in approx 6 months (probably, or renting) so dont need the bees knees, but it needs to look good but be cheap.
Are the B&Q sheds any good? Lots of hassle? Or should I consider a more local store?

If you want to buy from B&Q, wait until they have a sale with at least 30% off. Otherwise, look elsewhere to get better value for money.
Avoid wooden ones if possible - they're a pain to look after

Doesn't that just leave plastic? ugh...
Why don't they have metal sheds here?
Seems odd to me... as they sell all the other bits for them for making a nice solid floor

Nought wrong with BQ , wickes etc sheds if you only want it for 6 months mate. Normally come flat pack with all the fixings , felt etc , just like putting together a bit of furniture just treat it with some shed and fence stuff to make it last longer.
if u go to b&q always try and haggle when buying big items aunt went there and brought a 150 quid table and chair set and got them to give here a 20 quid parasol for free
always worth a try on big orders of anything

I've personally had nothing but trouble with the things
DIY store sheds are rubbish - find a local firm who build them bespoke it's cheaper than you think and they'll put it up/treat it etc. I had one made to fit the space behind the garage perfectly
