Really jelouse Shelley. The best i've done was hold a baby aligator when in Florida about 15 years ago. I'd really like a bearded dragon, but not exactly practical when i work offshore :\ maybe in the future.

Maybe i'll find another exotic animal place if i go back to the US next year. Yet another thing to add to my list of things to do there

Well done with the spider and everything else btw.

Aww, I'd love to see the sanctuary ^_^

Tarantulas are like monsters you'd see in a banned horror film!!

Awwww a hedgehog sanctuary!!!! thats awesome

Spiders are weird, 8 legs, 8 eyes, skeletons outside of their body, weird anatomy inside, they can survive in space apparently
( learnt all about them, it's called knowing your enemy ) very cool but very weird, thinking of getting a tarantula now to eat all the house spiders, they become part ofthe food chain being useful, without having to actually kill them yourself

Oh! sorry! didn't think a small picture would cause any offence to anyone because it's only a picture, not going to jump out at you, there's worse things i could of posted a picture of, i appreciate some people don't like spiders, hence the small picture
