The entire team are heroes, kudos especially to Neil Back and of course Martin Johnson.
Wilko would be nothing without his team mates.
That game was amazing and extremely tense.

What a match.

Great match to watch, you could feel the tension. Welldone to Wilko, and great last match for Johnson to finsh on.
The Cup has finally come home :)
Great match...
however...
What rubbish. He set up a brilliant try and did some excellent kicking. He is a true star along with Martin Johnson.Quote:

Ben
Its good to be English.
Only a couple of things annoyed me. The ref, he penalized martin Johnson for diving on the ball when it was knocked forward, but not the aussie when they knocked it forward.
That props handling, when we could have scored, all he had to do was catch it. Suppose we could put that down to nerves.
The prop who didnt have his socks pulled up. That annoyed the hell out of me!!
Well done England :)
Will
The ref was terrible , he had a bee in his bonnet about the english front row , he didnt penalise the ozzy front row once in the entire game when they were the cause of most of the problems in the scrums :(
Man I am VERY hungover.
and its not even morning yet :D
It is in Oz, where Ben obviously has been participating in a very rare reverse sport - \'Ozzie baiting\'.
Its about time England won something!
The best kicker in the world would be nothing without his team mates? Which substance were you smoking?Quote:

My meaning was that he would have little impact on a game if his team mates did not get him into a position where he could make his kicks. Its no good putting the world greatest kicker onto the pitch if the rest of the team are unable to get the ball into the opposition half, and apply enough pressure so that the opposition concede a penalty.
Yes he is a great player no doubt about it and his kick undoubtedly won the cup for england, but don\'t forget the other 14 players on the pitch who put him in the position where he could make that drop goal.
