Just bought a Casio EX-S2 for £100 from ASDA on special offer because it was ex-display - works fine...
just wondering whether anyone else has got one and what they think of it?
Shame it doesn't do close-up photos very well (no macro mode)...

What is a Casio EX-S2 and more importantly what can it do for me?
I'm guessing it's a digital camera. But this thread is worthless without pics![]()

Can't see it being a very good camera without a Macro mode though to be honest....
NS
well, i haven't been out with it yet to see what it's like with outside pics...
pics of the cam here:

what i would like to know, is whether i should take this back and get a better (but bigger) camera, with 3mp, 3x zoom, and a macro mode... ?
this one's 2mp, no zoom, no macro mode, but it's very small.

I would get one of the Canon Powershot AXX series as they all have great picture quality, and loads of features...
May be worth seeing the pictures first though...

Looking at the sample pics on that site it doesn't look too bad for £100

there's some pics on

click photos then the first 2 sets were taken today, i'm just not very impressed with the general sharpness of the images, if you click on the small images, you'll get the bigger ones, 1600x1200 on fine setting, they just don't look very sharp or crisp at all.
good price, but i think i'm paying for the size rather than the quality, for example the Olympus c-350, 3mp, 3x optical zoom, is £152 (Amazon) which would probably be MUCH better quality for only £50 more... (and i'd get macro, which I REALLY want to have)
