    A Hexus book

    Reading another thread and a recent article in Micromart, about getting books published
    for little money, made me wonder if a book under the hexus banner would be a good idea.

    If there ever was such a thing what should it be about?

    Something about how games developers are continually pushing the boundaries to create the worlds best game, and hardware manufacturers strive to create the fastest hardware. Are the two causes mutually independant or are they co-existant?

    Sounds like you want us to write an essay, not a book
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Aren't those technological advances happening for the same reason as it was in the 90's?

    it does sound like an essay doesn't it. Lets write a romance novel about how a 7900GT falls in love with an x1900xt and they have psychotic mutant babies based on the Havoc engine with uber-high power requirements

    My question is... why write a book? What's wrong with the web?

    There's something offputting about printed stuff... where's Paul when you need him?
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    You can't easily take a computer into the bathroom

    (except a laptop... but that's not a good idea where water's about... )

    Not if you fall asleep at the time... dropping a lappy is a little more expensive then dropping a book

    Yeah, it's a bit more expensive to drop and I kinda like being able to have a book with me and read it whenever. Sure I've gotta a lappy, but a book it's a bit more comfortable on the beach or something + I have a hard time sitting and reading for too long before the comp.
