    Grrr! Ebuyer!

Hey folks, just recieved my order from ebuyer, and there's a box missing. Now obviously the first thing i did was open all the boxes and check the missing items hadnt been tucked in with anything else, but once i realised they werent actually there, i got on the phone to good ol' city link to find out wtf it was! Lo' and behold, they'd only recieved 2 packages from ebuyer and there was nothing else on their system for my address. So they've raised a note with ebuyer saying i havent recieved my whole order, and i've raised a note in my account saying the same thing and asking where the hell it is since i paid for priority delivery!

The thing is, i'm inpatient, and i hate bloody enotes! I'll now have to wait days for a reply, which means that i've paid for priority delivery for something that wont arrive for probably another week!

Has anyone else had a problem like this with ebuyer and if so are there any quicker ways of going about it? Is ebuyers customer service decent, do they offer you some sort of compensation, like refunded delivery or something? I'm so annoyed! GRR!

If eBuyer get it right with the 1st go your fine but I never pay for priority delivery as everything just gets delivered in there own bloody time.
I once ordered some stuff on priority it didnt come so I sent them an enote and they said sorry for the inconvenience and gave me £5 as a show of good will, I sent another enote saying yeah thanks, thats the £5 I paid for the bloody priority delivery, they then gave me free delivery on my next order, thing is this then screwed up the delivery dates on the next order as it went to there cheapest delivery and I couldnt change it...
They are crap when it comes to delivery and IMHO there always going to be.
There website couldnt be slower if it was hosted on a bloody P60.
There RMA guys seem to be ok tho....

they delivered the wrong part to me the day after boxing day, I sent an enote thing
and i got a reply the same day or next with an rma number. I got the proper part
three days later. So in my case it was sorted pretty quick.

I've never had a problem with eBuyer, but I've stopped using them now. They have a ba reputation so basically anything which I wouldn't be distraught if it was late for and is cheap I get on eBuyer. Scan is just too good, especially with the free delivery.

Ordered a Sansung ML-1610 mono laser with Scan the a week or two ago, came next morning . Outstanding service and CS I can trust.

Ebuyer is probably better than SCAN for our kind of people who're afraid of the phone...and love typing...

ebuyer have been known for a while at been very poor. I have to say if you want to be sure of great service then use Scan. They are a great retailer and very helpful. Beats OcUK hands down with customer service.

God, i had alot of trouble with Ebuyer when i ordered the parts to this PC!

We got the order together, placed it, about £530, they refused to take the credit card, told us it hadnt worked, ok fine, an error of some sort, tryed again, all details are 100%. Phoned them up (now god was that hard to do), they tryed, to no avail, so we asked them to enter our other credit card details to pay for it. That worked, order arrived fine and dandy, few weeks later, the 2 credit card bills come thru. Second card has order as expected, but wait a minute, what are these 3 charges on the other card each for the exact same ammount of 520 odd quid to ebuyer? After about a month of phone calls and their useless online email thing, we finally got them to refund it all. No compensation offered but ill never be shopping their again.

Needs new monitor / speakers / headphones / keyboard.
Before that i need money :s

Not saying that ebuyer are good or bad... but I was under the impression that you needed DVI to be able to get a good clear picture at resolutions higher than 1600 x 1200... Anyway I always saw ebuyer as a website for cheapo's...

Coz I have 3 computers and only 2 monitors and I want them to share. Could have bought a DVI KVM switch but that was freaking hell expensive and the only way is to use the DVI and VGA (total 4 inputs for 2 monitors) to handle all 3 computers.
