Ah, mine is superb but it doesn't pick up speed cameras nor tell you of traffic delays.

I was looking for a relativeyl cheap one and now I swear by it!

There are plenty of good reviews on it if you look around.

Have a look for the Garmin I3 streetpilot (http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPR-Garmin...D-220326170244)

There's a few variations like bigger screens that cost a bit more. I picked mine up for £125.00

I used a TomTom One for a while. I was quite impressed with its ease of use and the clarity of the display and instructions.
I also had categorised speed camera alerts, including mobile sites. I never tried to connect it to my phone for traffic news, as that would be a huge plus as long as usage was affordable.

What did niggle me was the inaccuracy of some of the mapping but as long as you use your eyes looking at roadsigns too, it was a great little aid. A shade over £200 but it seemed the best value at the time. Now the x10 series has arrived perhaps a few will be sold off cheaper?

Stretch your budget a bit and get the Tom Tom One or the Road Angel Navigator 6000 as suggested by others.

Not that cheap an option when you consider you need an Ipaq that has bluetooth, the software package that might or might not include the bluetooth GPS unit.

dont need a blutooth gps you can buy ones that connect to the base of the IPAQ for less than 20 notes

2nd hand IPAQ with 256 compact flash card 60 notes
    GPS unit 20 notes
    carcharger and cradle 20 notes
upto you if you want to be legit then with Tom Tom software free

I agree, but the garmins are getting pretty good.

I have an T-Mobile MDA with TomTom and i love it. I think a PDA offers far better value for money because of all the other stuff you can use it for, including other usful GPS apps for walking, geocaching etc. And it worked out much cheaper than a Tom Tom one.

    http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/ is worth a visit.
