Just wordering I've just been to an agency and as you do handed over my bank details-Sort Code,Account number...
Just wordering surely with my name/Address/phone number already they could just go to the bank and say "Look i've lost my card is it alright if i wishdraw some cash if i told you my details"?
The bank at the very least demand a signature from them...and pref photo ID too.
You need proof of ID, paasport or drivers license. I dont work for a bank, but I know a lot about money
who ever thinks signitures are a reliable way of being secure is an idiot, they said to me "sir you have changed your signiture signifcantly since we last saw you" my reply " yeah i know sorry about that" nothing more was said they are a waste of time.
but most of the time they ask for photo id
