Does anyone actually read books anymore? I get the impression that folks tend to watch TV, mess about on PCs/ consoles and other suchlikes rather than sitting down with a good book. I read a couple of books a week but I think I'm an exception

I admit that now I don't read as much as I did when I was younger, but the books I did try and read bored me - Dan Browns books I find very interesting though, i'm not sure how simple, or good they are, but I enjoy reading 'em

I read loads, normally partway through about four books at any one time, but hardly ever fiction. Although I'm going to read Lukayenko's 'The Night Watch' while on holiday.
I read 1 or 2 books a week, I love John Grishams books. Have nearly read them all now.
If iIread, I do not like modern things.I like the old classics like Beawulf. ALthough I amok with modern fantasy books aslong as they are not carbon copies of Tolkien.
I prob read 1 or 2 books a week, I tend to do it about 30 mins or so before going to sleep, helps relax me.
I've been reading more now thatn I ever have, though like Jpreston, I hardly ever read fiction books.
my flat screen monitor and tower case weighs too much to rest it on my chest in bed...so I still read books too

I go through books at a depressingly expensive rate of knots, spent another £20 in Borders yesterday which should keep me going for a week or so.
I read books every now and again, if something grabs my attention though i'll sit and read it till i'm done - just missioned it through phantom by terry goodkind, very good read. I've got a few books i've half read tough that i should finish
