    Woahh, thats 10 mins down the road from me. If i feel any better next week ill pop down and have a look before it gets sold

    It's like the Natwest is best tank near me.

    (It's a tank on the side of the road - it used to say Natwest is Best on it - best advertisment ever, I only ever wanted one bank when I was a kid and that was the one the TANK told me to get) I'm still with them now. And wish I wasn't.

    I wonder how the seller got the harrier in the first place?

    And could you also buy some engines, as engines are useless without the plane, and then put 'em together?

    Never worked on Harriers, but from the stories I've heard it isn't easy or straight forward. So getting the engine would only be the beginning of your problems. Probably doesn't have any of its avionics, or the ejection seat, and the fuel tanks probably leak (they do when in service anyway let alone decommissioned ... ).
