Do they make wireless home phones with a handsfree loudspeaker function?

Hate having to hold the phone to my ear for 20mins on hold, i like how on my mobile i can just press a button and put the phone down on the table and get on with something else.

From what I saw in Currys I'd say the best ones are the Panasonics, I think it was this model: KXTCD212 they're really popular though and often in short supply so you might have to look around for them, but they're worth the effort.

We've 3 Binatone DECT handsets, with a handsfree function. Not too expensive from Argos, I seem to remember.

I've got a BT Freestyle one like this... BT Freestyle 2200

...I think I got mine from Argos, but its £13.99 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=220012519982

Hands free and caller display, and you can buy them in ones, two's or four's I think. I've not had any problems with it, and the hands free thing is great for when you're on hold!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

I've had Philips DECT phones and I'll never touch another one. Currently have a couple of Panasonics (KT717 or something) and they are brilliant, long battery life, hands-free, loud etc. etc.

I'm pretty sure they're duplex on hands free too, watch out for cheaper ones which can only manage simplex.

I have the a set of panasonic phones. Great features include handsfree, ability to text, single phonebook covers any phones on the system, voice tags (tells you who is phoning is they are in the phonebook and are tagged), digital answerphone, etc. Cost £80 a pair but they are excellent phones.
