What's the biggest animal you could fight?

What do you think is the largest animal you could 'take' in a one-on-one fight?

Im going for a cow here, with some clever skill, i reckon I could drop it.

A horse....but only just. I've given a few of them a good kick when they've injured me, and they stood on me, bitten me and so far I've avoided receiving a kicking.....

but it needs to be a BIG horse......

none of the little evil minded pony gits...they're just TOO evil. Small pony's should be respected.

I actually 'lolled' in real life - I meant as I am 6' 6" I would be in a good position to fight a giraffe!

you would be a fair way off a giraffe, even at 6'6.

Right, I am assuming for the avoidance of doubt that the fight is to the death, and bare-handed. So, though one may be able to avoid a charging hippo (for example) you have no way to kill it so it doesn't count.

Having had the conversation before the answer for me is a rottweiler - i.e. a rottie would be able to kill me were I to have an off-day but I'd fancy my chances 9 times out fo 10
