i messed up with a girl.

i like this girl, so i was going to ask for her number. but she makes me so nervous. all i wanted was her number! when i did speak to her i managed to say these things "im not going to ask you out" "are people spreading rumors about me fancing you". i think she likes me, and she looked kinda hurt when i told her that.

the things is i like her, but i would like to no her a bit more! what i don't know is how to bulid back bridges.

Just talk to her, apologise and explain how you actually feel about her. That's all you can do really.

If she rejects you, put it down to experience and move on. Although that can be easier said than done.

Good luck anyway . How old are you btw?

im 18, its a girl at work.

all i couldn't understand, why i couldn't take my self to say it. normally im capable of saying what i got to say, as i think if you wernt born with her won't lose anything.
its just i got alot of explaining to do now, when i could of worked it smooth.

The real trick, painful as it might be, is simply to be honest. ctid is right.

If she's interested and has an ounce of sense she'll understand. If she doesn't have an ounce of sense then you're better-off not getting involved, believe me.

Awww bless ya! you got yourself in a bit of pickle havent you sweety

Do you know where she goes for Lunch? maybe you could just happen to be where she is? and start a conversation about whatever you young things talk about! do you know what her interests are? us girlies like someone who seems genuinely interested in us.
Unlike Jon who sounded like "Bleuuurrrghh yeah, ahhhhhh hic yaaaaarrrrr hehehe" translated as "I'd really like to get you know you better, will come out with me one night?" ( He was drunk when we met )

Do you have her mobile number, maybe text her? sometimes it's easier to text someone than talk to their face.

Wish you all the luck in the world, let us kow how you get on

it's harder to do than that though..... we all know that.

However....there are 3 things to remember:

1 : she won't draw an axe on you and cleave your head from your shoulders...the worst that can happen is she'll say no, and laugh, and frankly...(keep this in your head) COMEDIANS GET PAID TO BE LAUGHED AT, so it cabn't be that bad.

2: you won't die, and you wont suffer from never meeting a lady ever again. In fact, frankly, to be nervous is a good thing, but it goes away with practice

3: if you like her now, youmight not like her in 3 weeks time, so you might as well let her fall in love with you and have pleasure of your company before you get bored with her.

All three SHOULD be in your mind as you approach.

then talk to her like you talk to your best mate....forget love....talk like a friend.

Forget chat uplines.....and forget any other old rubbish. Smile as you would to a suprise christmas present when you next see her, and when you are about to talk to her, touch her sleeve as you say hi, and immediately pull your hand away so you' dont rest it on her....

don't ask why Iknow thse things....I made a bigger knob of myself as a youngster asking birds out than anyone else in the universe...but I am still alive and happy as a pig in pooh

yeah, thats why i want to kno her abit better because i don't want to really want to say i like you but she could be not be what im looking for

    thanks zak.

also why i talk about getting to know her she worked a diffrent shift i saw her but i tend to fancy any girl with a pretty face, which is my mistake thats why i judge buy personality unlike some of my freinds.

Yep. Be honest. You'll never get anywhere if you don't ask and if you don't you'll always wonder "what if?" It's not easy but then life never is especially when women are involved...
