It'd be a pity as they've been a rock solid supplier or reasonable priced goods with a good range over the last 5+ years...

Make sure you pay by credit card I guess....

Except for their absolute joke of a customer service derpartment. Scan's where it's at now, especially with the free shipping. I only really go to ebuyer now to check their reviews .

^^ agreed - i've had countless problems with ebuyer, they used to be pretty good for low value stuff but I would never spend a large amount of cash with them..to many problems wtih customer service, and generally extortionate delivery charges with long delivery times..

Also agreed the problems I have had in the past with trying to get RMAs from Ebuyer are just a joke.

Scan is, by far, the best retailer at the moment.

I must say if they do go it will be a little irritating, they are a decent retailer. Their customer service isn't brilliant but I've RMAed things and it was all done fairly quickly

Yup. I used to use them a lot until I had problems ordering a simple camera case. They couldn't send me the right one even after I sent it back to them 3 times.

i stopped using them becuase of the length of time (and cost ) of their delivery, they was ok a few years ago but then something changed and they became very unreliable

will be sad to see them go though, its always good for e-tailers to have competition, it keeps them on their toes for pricing and service they offer

iv only used ebuyer a few times but iv had no probs, (tho the last time i used them was almost a year ago to get a wireless router) and was planning on using them again to get my new case, the antec solo, as it is the cheapest place i can find it by some amount but now im not sure, with all this talk about them maybe going under and all the credit and insurence problems there now having, its a bit of a shame really
also are all these problems causing delays in them reciving stock as i was told it would only be a few days till they got the case, and that was a few weeks back now...

ebuyer were great at providing low cost products, but shipping, RMAs and Customer Service were definately not their forte.

I used to buy from Ebuyer quite a bit but i find Scan much more professional, better prices and an awesome customer care dept.

but there are alot of stuff ebuyer has that scan dont hench why i still shop there and have never had any problem with their delivery and RMA stuff. scan is good but i wish that expand on the stuff they sell...

If they do go under maybe they will be selling off their stock. The shop is in Sheffield so i may be able to go down and get some good bargins

Hmm, I have used them a great deal although I know a few people who run smaller online businesses and they really hate eBuyer because they can not only undercut their selling price - but even their wholesale price simiply because of their economy of scale!

Ive only ever had one problem with them and because of that I get free shipping on all my orders, heh

I've never had a single problem with EBuyer over the 4-5 years I have been using them. Only had to RMA a product back once and that was delt within 2 days.

iv got everything from a laptop to a case for it from them. the one problem iv had is that the case didnt have the carry strap with it (more of a belkin problem than ebuyers!) but one was sent out for me and i got it in 2 days.
