just a quick question really

does anyone know what time city link delivers on a saturday - i paid quite alot extra to have it delivered today and its still not arrived (13:30)

any ideas?? i dont fancy waiting in all day

argh as i thought

yeh a mate of mine needs his PC finished by sunday night and he insisted on a Coolermaster stacker - for some reason possibly the hardest case to get hold of the last week

i paid almost £40 to have it delivered today (added charge as it came from the e-tailers supplier directly to myself) if it dosent come i'll be playing hell with them

I believe the latest time they deliver is 6:30. But that's during weekdays, so maybe not as late on a Saturday.

its a flaming rip off, the price they charge for sat delivery, i have been let down by amtrak today, on the good side, micro direct said they will refund all the delivery costs on monday.

i agree mate the cost of delivery on saturday is ridiculous - well its 15:09 and im still sat waiting for my parcel, i got up at 8am as well

Have you got a contact number of Citylink, 'cause I'd say it'd be worth giving them a ring and asking....at least they'll be able to tell you if it's out for delivery today, or whether it's sitting back in the warehouse. You might be able to go and pick it up if that's the case (no pun intended)

the only problem is i dont have a consignment number for it - as mentioned above they had to have it shipped specially from their suppliers directly to myself (hence the big deliv cost) so they didnt have a consignment number for me when i called to arrange delivery

i guess if i call they could do a search on my postcode

Although it's of no use now I always find Citylink deliveries on a Saturday are flippin early, if it's not there by 9ish give the local depot a call, they should be able to find your address on their system.

Hope you get a full refund and lots of goodies as compensation.

I find Saturday deliveries the most unreliable and now refuse to send any customers PC's for a Saturday delivery after some bad, expensive problems.

tbh ive already accepted the fact that its not going to arrive today - i have to say id hate to be the person who deals with my complaint on monday - its not just the fact thats its inconvenient for me now (today was the only day i could take reciept of the package) but also the fact im going to be letting one of my customers down

Yup, but then, as a rule, people are incompetant to the point of comedy, expecially in the domestic shipping industry. Do you know what the basic qualification requirements are for the people who actually handle the packages at places like Citylink?
