    first i've heard of this. If he had stood behind his comments, i think he would have gained a lot of popularity with the public. Although the media would tear him appart....again. But then they do that with all politicos no matter what they do.

    Ah but he quickly apologised for punching that tory yokel too, but everyone just remembers the punch. This is the same, he's done wonders for the government and edged John Reid out of the headlines to boot.
