Did anyone else just hear them say that on BBC2?
Is this just a ploy to get us to approve the licence fee?

He's just so cute!

Very clever too. If he was in charge of a few more things I think the country would be in a damn sight better shape than it currently is under these Labour w*nk*rs.

Bah, it was just part of the Time Trumpet promo, heh.
Even though I think of myself as Old-Labour, Boris is one of the few modern politicians for whom I have any time, merely because he strikes me as someone who's managed to fuse intelligence and the moral courage to speak his mind. His appearances on Have I Got News For You have been spectacular, especially the one where he was in the chair. It will be a comfort to the Tories that my admiration for Tony Benn stems from the same source .
im sick of labour as well there a bunch of thieving bigots who only care about themselvesOriginally Posted by Bluecube

Well this bit got my fancy:
(HIGNFY at the time of the Tory leadership challenge when there was a fuss over David Cameron taking drugs when younger)
[Phil Hammond]Have you snorted cocaine?
[Boris Johnson]I tried to, but (mumble)
[Phil]You tried to snort cocaine?
[Boris]Unsuccessfully, a long time ago.
[Paul Merton] Were you... were you using a vacuum cleaner?
[Boris] No, I sneezed, I sneezed.
[Paul]So there were four people around you who took cocaine but you went 'pssst'.
[Boris]It was a very small, a very small quantity, it was a long long time ago. I think it's a totally disgusting and ridiculous thing to do and, um, what else can I say about it, um.
[Ian Hislop] Sounds good.
[Boris] Very very very, wrong and bad.
[Phil] I think you're commendably honest actually Boris. You're far too honest to be a politician.
[Boris] I think recklessly honest is my, my (mumble). I think we should move off this, this subject.
[Phil]Is he a bit of a wobbler, old David? Or do you call him Dave?
[Boris]Old Paxman?
[Phil]No, David, is he a wobbler? They keep saying he keeps vacillating over Europe and not giving any substance to stuff. Does he wobble?
[Boris]Absolutely not. No no.
[Ian]The only thing he's wobbling on is, should he give Boris a job? I think a show of hands would help [gestures to audience].
[Paul]Treating this as an audition.
[Boris]My objective is to survive.
Well, you can't help liking a politician who admits to being recklessly honest.

Boris!
Wow!
I'm afraid that's true for the vast majority of politicians, regardless of the party they're in.Originally Posted by mcmiller
