So, who's broken Hexus then, for the last week I've either had trouble connecting or when I have connected it eaither half loaded and then stopped or firefox has asked me to save some random file....
Have MS bought David out and hes IE only now?

lol.
Yeah I've noticied it too, quite annoying. I've been timing out, or going extremly slow.
This morning it seems ok though.
I've also been having problems with Hexus under Firefox for the past few days. Everything is running well now though!
Trig - try clearing your cache - helped me loads with firefox
Firefox gave me trouble, had a look using IE and there was still trouble using the Hexus site (I use NTL - there has been a suggestion that the NTL caches may have been perpetuating an error that did occur on the hexus site at some point). Everthing in running sweet today - at the moment.
in one of the other threads about this, David said it was to do with one of their load balancers that went bad, or something like that.
I been using the opera browser, a few niggles but nothing major
Honour in peace,
A leprichaun talks to me....
I've had no problems at all on the latest firefox build.
asking you to download a file is a sign of a server issue - it means the server is identifying a given file as one that should be downloaded (not displayed inline), which usually happens when the server doesn't understand a given file extension (so when you upload a .foo file to the server, no reconfiguring is required for people to have left-click-to-download functionality). if it's asking you to download a .php file, then the server's forgotten what php is - which is bad(tm)
msie usually ignores the server directive, and displays content inline based on its own understanding of extensions
