These mushrooms are growing in a small patch of earth at the top of our garden, a patch that is mostlly in shade. Does anyone have a clue what they are? Poisonous or not?

Only eating them will give you the true answer to that...
*Will try to come back with real advice... give me a couple of minutes*
EDIT: Hmmm... do they have a stalk of any kind?
Don't look like it.

Looks like the fungus that grew behind the leaky shower in a ****ty house I lived in a for a few months. Wouldn't recommend eating it![]()
dont eat them whatever you do
Lol, I can't stand mushrooms, my Dad seems keen though. The patch used to be grass with loads of weeds that I dug over about a month ago. The mushies have appeared in the last couple of days, after the rain we've had. The pic is of the main clump, but there are two or three smaller ones as well. I'll pick one tomorrow for a more detailed examination and pics. As for now, there seems to be a small stalk, caps are about 5cm across.
What make them so exciting ? Looks dull to me.
