 :p
that has got to be spin.
although i have to say that i am looking forward to this one as a no brainer action flick :)
Its a good film but the gore and violence can be over the top at times. It also has quite a few funny moments, the film doesn't take itself too seriously. Worth watching but not if you want something to relax to!
Almost as good as Trigger Happy TV when during the advert about keeping your belongings safe, with the green snake stealing handbags, Dom Joly crawls up the side of the cinema in a huge snake suit. Pure classic :D
How a PoS film like this even gets off the drawing board mystifies me...
[edit] lol, sorry posted before reading article :p
Having just seen snakes on a plane its not just marketing genius, its not a bad film either. The article in that link does sound like spin though.
You sir, suck.Quote:

Remember all those B-movies of old, yar they are painfully low-budget and the special-effects are utter piffle but its good to watch these films with a sense of irony and watch them the way the director had imagined it.
Absorb the imagination and the creativity and the resorcefulness of the crews that made the films.
I don't really want "realistic" films as there are always those wee little inaccuracies that spoil it for me, its nice to just kick back and watch a film for what it is.
I saw this yesterday and then afterwards I thought I would do some research on it so on Wikipedia I rewad this article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snakes_on_a_plane and surprisingly it's very popular on the web and it originally had a different title.
the title of the movie and the trailer sounds rubbish but what i have heard from critics is that its actualy a good movie which i find hard to beleive despite that i have not seen it yet
Viral marketing? More like poison marketing **badum pssh!**
took this girl to see it on a date, and we were cracking up, both really enjoyed it, but were unsure whether to cry or laugh, so did both. Good film imo

There were kids that couldn't have been much older than 12 there... with a parental guardian. 'Cause that makes it less graphic.
I'm not complaining, tbh.. when I was a child I enjoyed watching violent films/B-Movies. I was just shocked at the rating.
What shocked me in regards to the rating was the distinct lack of swearing considering it already had a 15 rating and plenty of violence.Quote:
