duno maybe try a cheap electric shaver..
hair clippers.

i had some hair clippers once but the couldnt get close enough :(
surely there are more manboys out there than just me!
Get a trimmer and just run over the stubble, leaves some growth on my chin.
ok then.......what trimmer do people recommend?
cheers noni, looks good. i was really after something electric though
Boots stock lots. I use a phillips - bought it coz it runs on AA batteries.

Just use setting 1 or 2 for perma stubble
Shave 2 days earlier :p
goatee is the answer for looking older than normal.
or just a single narrow strip down the centre of ya chin...quite italian.
Don't do stubble deliberately...it doesn't work. It's either real...or you missed a bit.
Nick gets 5 o'clock shadow at about 8:15 am, 13 minutes and 16 seconds after he's shaved.....still looks like a tramp ;)
cheers clunk, thats exactly what i was after.....do you know if it comes with a carrying case for when i'm not at home?
Cheers Hulkster, are the lowest setting suitable to leave like 1-2 days stubble?
Yeah 1 is actually called the stubble setting , about 0.5 in haircut terms for comparison i use it every other day.
looks like i'll be getting that then........cheers hulkster
You want a Beard Trimmer, not a shaver. Beard trimmers have adjustable guard so you can trim as close - or not - as you like, and it is even all over. I used to have a Phillips and it was goot, and I also had a Braun and it too was good.
I use a beard trimmer, have done for years. Not because i want stubble, because wet shaving causes painful ingrowing hairs. Those stupid adverts for the 'Super Mach 7 Turbo Champion Extreme Pro Power III', or whatever, drive me up the wall - I dont want the closest shave in the universe ever FFS!
You might have to take of the guard and have it on a 0 grade setting, depends on the amount of growth and thinkness you get.
But be warned, only do it if you have proper thick face hair. Stubble will make you look older then, but if you have light face hair (bum fluff) i will just make you look the same age but with crappy bum fluff. There nothing dafter looking that someone with bum fluff and girls dont like it, but i guess you should be ok at your age.
cheers for the concern autopilot......but i dont have bum fluff.
Good stuff, now you can look as 80's as me :D
sweeeeeeetttttttttttttt.....on a side note, anyone up for some bf2 action tonight after 8ish tonight?
I'm not sure we wanted to know that...Quote:
