Really quite upsetting news, as I feel airfix is a huge part of the countrys heritage. Alot of kids including myself grew up making these models? what do you all think about this?

Shame they got into such a sticky situation...
(sorry)
haha, no pun intended eh?
Oooh, perhaps I can get a load of surplus 1/35 DUKWs, the one kit that includes British markings.![]()
I was never into making ground vehicles , it was mainly the aircraft for me, I think the first I made was the spitfire. 1/48 scale
Used to love Airfix.
i think i only attempted a couple of models in the past when i was little (probably 10 - 12) but they always ended up looking rubish. Loved the idea of building them though.
Really dissapointing news, i used to love making the airfix models, painting them then flying them around.
Sad to see them go.![]()
This isn't Airfix, it's Tamiya with a little resin and photoetched brass.
