Ads that slowly tell a story about a couple, sometimes over the course of several years, are very annoying. The BT ones on at the moment, with that nob from My Family in them, are even more annoying.

On the plus side, there are Honda adverts.

I have noticed a very sharp decline in the quality of car adverts. with a daewoo 4x4 being by far the worst - it looks like it was unknowingly made in paint by a 3 year old trying to eat the mouse.

"John Wayne - the Hero, the Soldier, the Cowboy..."
NO!
John Wayne - The ACTOR that stayed in Hollywood when real heros were in Europe fighting, when real cowboys were fighting and dying against Nazis - While John Wayne stayed at home and furthered his career...
Any ad for constipation, the quirts, thrush or femenine hygene. NO!
you and me both, or how 'absorbant' new underwear liner ares - not pritty.Quote:

if your going to advertise your product at least put some effort in - see Citroen, honda or any beer adverts.
Although the OP hates the new BT family adverts, it works, as were here in a thread discussing it, but then again were not talking about the advertised product.
Anyways... another advert that annoyed was the Nescafe couples ones, I did like the BT one with Maurean Lipman in and the oxo family one purely for the fact that Linda Bellingham was in it ;)

I think the worst are the insurance adverts i.e. admiral & elephant! Although I'm sure there are worse! I'm currently looking for insurance, but they just turn me off! Churchil are getting slightly annoying too!
They're the ones I find most annoying too. Insurance adverts and injury lawyers.
Nationwide, is that the "New customers only" one? How much would i like to grab that annoying twit by the back of the head & smash his face repeatedly into the desk! :p
If you don't like the adverts don't watch them. Become one of the annyoing people like me that takes control of the remote and flicks through other channels to see what else is on, only to find that there is a conspiracy to time all ad breaks at the same time
Sky is terrible for that! all the ad breaks seem to be at the same time on all channels! even the friggin' music channels have ad breaks now!Quote:

I thought they always had adverts :confused:Quote:

Most of them seem to coordinate the breaks now. The worst thing is, if you're flicking between channels from the same distributor (Discovery is great at this) they even have the same adverts!!!!
tut tut tut.. it's aaaahhhhhhhh bisto! pleb :PQuote:
