    Exercise.

Ive put on a lot of weight over the last 6 months or so, so ill be doing the same. I was normal very active, always doing some sport, just not siting on my ass like i am now.

Mind you, i don't think its bad thing, i was very thin... how things change !

edit - goto a hard dance club / techno / hard house and i guarantee with all the dancing like your having an epileptic fit you'll be doing, you'll come out 2 pounds lighter (i know i do anyway ! )

    I have an idea...

Accept who and what you are.
Women when they put on weight put it on the backs of there legs there chests and there bums, this is fact and there is nothing you can do to change it.
Loosing weight quickly is not good for your body, nor are crappy diets like this atkins one.
Starving yourself is not the ansa as your body doesnt know when its next intake of food will come in so to get energy your body eats away at your muscles, muscle weighs more so you think your loosing fat, your not, your loosing muscle, the fat infact builds up so even tho you weigh less your fatter than you were.

Why do you want to get rid of this fat anyways?

Daily exercise and a balanced diet. Not the most fun in the world, and definitely off-putting after a day or so of perseverence. However, a month of daily aerobic exercise (30 minutes to an hour is fine) will reap benefits, and make you feel 'trific.

It's just a matter of figuring out what to do, how to do it properly, getting into a routine, and sticking to it.

I used to be a fitness freak going to the gym 5 or 6 times a week, doing sports etc, and I plan on getting back to it as soon as I can. There's nothing better than feeling healthy and good about yourself, IMO.

Goto Drum n Bass instead, that is a proper workout!

Starving yourself isnt actually a way to lose weight - though eating healthily and being more active does. Increasing your metabolism helps (and means you can eat the foods you want without piling on the weight) - I like to have 4 - 5 meals a day. When you wake up, have something to eat to kickstart your metabolism (when you go to sleep, so does your metabolism, so dont eat anything like 10 minutes before you go to sleep coz it piles it on). Guaranteed 1 - 1.5 hours later, you'd be even more starving (good sign) - and repeatum . . . I eat a shedload for someone my size, Ive not dropped below 10.5 stone for what, 8 years or something.

right, trig, it's not that i dont accept who i am, it's the fact that i seem to have ballooned in the last couple of months cos all my trousers arent fitting me right and i cant get into the trousers i want cos they dont come big enough!!!

Sex... hmmm... well yeah, marathon weekends every few weeks.... i have one before christmas.... need a different solution. However, the only actual TIME i have over the next few weeks will be walking to and from lectures, which is all i seem to be doing anyway, I have 9-6 days for the next 2-3 weeks and by the end of it, the last thing i want to do is go to the gym. Swimming... now that's an idea.... just need to see if my cozzi still fits :/

As for cutting down/eating healthier foods, that's what i've started doing. 5 portions of fruit and veg a day, drinking water instead of soft drinks and CUTTING OUT THE ALCOHOL! argh! how will i cope :/

    but i'll just have to.

    Thanks for your help guys
