Trance Suggestions

Hi all im looking at making a trance mix CD with all types of trance from all great tracks that have been released in the past to the present day. Im just looking for suggestions as to some great tracks i can include in the mix. A few tracks i have thought of so far include such tracks ranging from System F - Out of the blue upto great new tracks such as Ferry Corsten - Fire. Any help would be appreciated.

Also where would I stand legally if i wanted to distribute this to fellow Hexus Members, Friends and Family? Free of charge?

Gotta put Forbidden Paradise by Tiesto on there, the 'Deep Trance Mix' is great :)
And how about Tiesto vs Randy Katana - Play it Louder on Flight 643.

On the subject of the distribution, I'm not fully aware of Hexus' rules on it... but it's probably not advisable to talk about it on the forums.

I have to admit I have not been listening to as much trance recently, much more into the vocal house atm. I did go to creamfields the other week and it reminded me why I love trance. :)

DJ Tiesto - Lord of Trance. I love that song. Trance in general aint my cup of tea though.

Cheers for the suggestions, I have been thinking of starting the mix off with slower more subtle tunes i.e. progressive trance and working or to the harder more techy side of things.

Absolute classic track: Armin van Burren - Communication

It just has to be on there!!

Gouryella - Ligaya. Didnt like it at first, but grew biig on me, I remember hearing Ferry play it when the hype was building about it... everyone was like 'is this the new Gouryella?... na', 'is this the new Gouryella?... na', 'is this the new Gouryella?... yes... stomp stomp stomp'

Solarstone - Solarcoaster (Murano Mix). Proggy, downtempo though, maybe a good starter

Apex - Virtuoso. It has the coldest, spine tingling breakdown in the world.

MMDC - No More Rain. A true favourite.

How about Yoji Biomechanika - Theme from Banging Globe, for the 'harder, techy' ending?

They're all oldies, but goodies. A few of my faves when I was big on Trance.

I have had an idea and I know its going against the title of the thread but I have been thinking of throwing in a few uplifting house tracks such as David Guetta - The world is mine to get things flowing along nicely. What d'ya think?

I like David Guetta, I particularly like Just a little more love (wally lopez edit)

I love his remix of Bob Sinclaire - World hold on. If you havent heard it i reccomend giving it a listen. I will hopefulyl getting this mix together at the weekend. So keep any suggestions coming in.

I'm liking the sound of David Guetta being added to the mix, you can't forget about Love Don't Go Walking Away though his most recent single! As for the boogie pimps song its very trancy, I'm sure you'll like it.

I think i may forget about "love dont go walking away" I think its a great track but I dont think it will fit into the style of mix im trying to get across if you get me?? the main reason ive suggested David Guetta - The world is mine is because it has quite a trancy uplifting chord progression. but thanks for the idea.

I love the song 'long way home' I think it's a tiesto mix, unsure....

I love most of Tiesto's work, 'traffic' is a bit abstract, but an excellent tune nonetheless :)

Mix those two together - superb tracks, the Tyas remix has some of the best production I've *ever* heard.

If I had them mate... Limited by my vinyl collection.
