Never, ever, ever read what people write in spam emails to get your attention.

See, it worked on you D:

You know it's spam when there's 12 words in the whole email content, and there's still a spelling mistake.

I just wonder how many stupid fall for these things every year.

You should do what they guy did and pretend to be keen on getting some.

This guy double bluffed these scammers and sent them bricks etc which they paid for. It was great.

    Anyone remember the site?

419 scam emails..... offering something worth loads and then ripping you off! Stay well clear!

419eaters is one of the funniest sites going for scamming the scammers!

I just put it up to show the absolute bollocks that gets spammed about and the blatant nature of some people in comparison to the sneaky nature of others who pretend to be banks etc. Are you trying to belittle me with your reply, so what if i read it, whoop di do, no harm done, it's interesting to see the new techniques people employ in spam. I know its spam as pointed out in my original post.

I got exactly the same one as well!

Also bear in mind you've just advertised that guy's ICQ address so you've just advertised it to any people reading this site and actually helped him out...

Never reply to spam, it just makes things a lot worse. You could find their ISP and forward it to their abuse email, but that depends on them not faking the header, or more likely, it being sent from a zombie machine.

If you want to 'do your bit' make sure your computer is running fully legit software, it's fully patched, you have good firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware etc. and that you don't encourage any piracy.

But most people don't seem to care - they would rather save themselves a bit of money, when unknowingly they're actually helping create or at least support the spam that they're getting plagued by.
