Well, I thought this would be a bit more popular, especially given the increase in people on hexus who ride bikes
if i'd known about it earlier and lived nearer i would have, but nottingham->essex + run + return journey is a bit much for me atm
i like big runs, was brought up going to classic british bike runs with my dad, havnt done onne for AGGGGES
Pirates = Win.
Then for you, there is always next year. Its become a yearly event, and is one of the ways that Essex finances its Air Ambulance, which saves lives every day. Well worth the fiver or so it'll cost, and has the added bonus of being good fun at the same time.
Oh man, missed it, went out last nite and only just got home! How was it??
Beer is life, life is good!
Awesome, its the only word that describes it. The number of bikes leaving Dunton, and then the journey down the a127, a130, a12, a120 was immense. Really good day, but utterly knackering. From leaving my house this morning, to coming back 2nite, I have done 140 miles (which on a 125 is a fair bit).
The airambulance was overhead at times, did flybys at Dunton, but sadly no Aerobatics this year The Police were actually brilliant, they weren't on a mission to persecute bikers, and they kept all the traffic moving. There were the usual hooligans, but theyre were nowhere near as many as in previous years, and in general, the riding was excellent. Its the first time I have actually done it (only been biking a year) and I have got to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

heh, I was bouncing off the redline most of the way down the a roads
Was a great day, and I'd recommend it to anyone who rides a bike
