surely a band is defined as a group of people playing musical instruments. DJ decks and a laptop don't in my book qualify
Well, I can cut it in half!

My band uses a Powerbook and my iMac on stage

Dan's Powerbook runs all the interesting backing audio through Cubase. My iMac runs G-Force, an on-the-fly audio visualisation piece of software, looks really neat running through a PJ behind our drummer...

    We kick ass though, so.

I'm a keyboardist/technician in a band called Spigure o Feach (don't laugh, it was an accident that we're called that). I would give you our myspace thing but 1. I dont know it 2. it has some really stupid videos on it and 3. it has a really bad recording that was done when we had just started (using an onboard soundcard).

    So many bands...good stuff.

I'm looking to be in band. I play rhythm guitar , acoustic guitar, harmonica and ukulele and the keyboard (not brilliantly).

I've got a Guiness Book of record acoustic guitar world record attempt registered, but pulled the website due to lack of interest. Had about 100 people registered but needed 3,000 to beat the world record for gathering together the biggest acoustic guitar ensemble playing the same tune at the same time

Needed more marketing definately. Still got 2 years I think before the record attempt expires..when I get time I'll set it up again.

I'm looking to be in a band... anyone doing indie or punk stuff, and in need of a bassist, and in the bristol area, say! Or if you want to be in a completely new band... just me at the moment, and it's really quite boring...

    Tried musofinder dude?

    http://www.musofinder.com/index.php/

Can be a good resource if you wanna join a band but don't directly know any like minded musicians.
