Shady Ebay Seller Spotted Can Someone Help

hi there was looking for an unlocked n70 so i could play with tomtom again till its released for my n80 and n91 and using the specific search defining dropdown lists i searched for a used n70 unlocked and one that caught my eye seemed fine in the description it says ......Simlock:
    Unlocked

but in the written section it says........... it is an Orange handset, but can be unlocked to operate on any network very easily. Do Not Delay, Bid Today!!!!

so i looked through the bidders and the sellers feedback and to no surprise there was names that hooked up on several occasions , obviously trying to raise feedback and up the sales of items

    so i sent a message saying .....

why are you selling the phone in the unlocked section when you state that it is locked to orange but can be unlocked ?

false advertising and very misleading if its easy to unlock YOU UNLOCK IT not leave it to some poor sod that buys it then realises there so called phone isnt unlocked atall and has to get the phone not just unlocked but a firmware flash to get rid of the terrible orange software branding !

and i get this polite response this morning .....

    mind your own business!

    pr*ck

can someone help me report this clown or even better seince ive noticed him upping the bids on some of his auctions could someone use a spare account and punt it up to silly amounts as this kind of cheat dont deserve to make anything on ebay never mind rip of people who might not have clocked it properly

    the link is here ...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...%3AUK%3A1&rd=1

ive tried searching ebay help to report it but cant find anything ....

Considering you sent a rude message to him I'm not suprised what you got back. I hardly use Ebay now, its a scammers paradise and everyone is out to rip each other off.

The only thing you can do is report him to Ebay.

If people are stupid enough to buy off him...
Ebay's dead. Has been for a long time. It used to be a great place to buy strange, original things, and nab a bargain, now the top 10 of any search is some bloody crap:

    BUY 20 EBOOKS FOR 2p
HOW TO MAKE MONEY FROM FRUIT MACHINES 1p
BUY A LIST OF RESELLERS FOR 10p

    ETC.

    I HATE it.

E bay help is difficult to report but I hav used it to get several user suspended.
Go to help - contact us and then go from there. I believe that the listing policy breaches section would be your best bet.

well i think ive reported it but no doubt it will finish in time and someone will get stung i might phone a stupid friend and get them to bid at the last minute to make sure it doesnt go as it infuriates me , infact i might become a ebay terrorist to all those dodgy sellers

i remember i bought a dinky little 12inch lcd which i was going to place on top of my television years ago so i could monitor downloads and encoding tasks and mail motifications and news bulletins

the cards refresh rate was so low it only changed about 3 or 4 times a second scrolling a webpage was impossible and so was anything else unless it was looking at a plain desktop or a picture and the guy kept refusing to sign for the parcel and i had returned it the day after i got it !

good for him i didnt drive at the time or he'd be wearing the bloody thing
well he would if i ever got it back, he must have accepted it and just plain not refunded me !

Quite strange you should mention it right now, only yesterday I had a good rant about why I dislike eBay! (click if you really want to read it)

Nice Parm. I still think the quality of auctions is the big problem, but fraudsters are annoying!

I like the fact that the picture clearly shows a T-Mobile logo on that phone...interesting if it's locked to Orange

Note, if you're reporting things, try and leave about 2 days for anything to be done about it. For that reason it may be better to 'view sellers other items' and file a report on ones that are 2 days away rather than immediately selling ones.

    first of all: read this

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=85755

maybe I will be more sympathetic to you then

secondly as has been mentioned now this is just ebay these days - you have to read every listing very carefully, and just learn to not buy certian things from ebay - like mobile phones. Second hand mobiles are are minefield anyway considering the number of stolen ones out there, especially with relativly high value ones like the Nokia Nseries..
