What to get for £20

We do "secret santa" at work, where you write a list of stuff you want, and someone else buys it for you...

question is, anyone got some good suggestions as to what I should get?

get something crap, and then you won't be too disappointed when you get your crap present... not that I'm bitter, but we did this a couple of times at our old place, and I put a lot of effort into it, trying to be amusing and get something useful at the same time... and I got a fecking keyring..... two years in a row.... :mad:

we get to put down 3 things we want, and they can buy us anything from the list we choose, that way we don't get pointless presents that just end up in the bin :)

how about an air zooka thingy ;) The HEXUS BBQ chaps seem to love them ;)

Mini Desktop RC Racers for £10 from the gaget shop are great, I'm buying a guy in work one of them for our secret santa thingy :p

Just hope I get something as cool back :rolleyes: :) :P

got some nifty "rechargeable" handwarmers for a fiver from marks and sparks (very handy for those winter commutes) - and some brandy and chocolates for another fiver (doing secret santa with neighbours for a tenner each! ;))

Buy something seasonal like one of those mega annoying singing/dancing santa's. Or a fart machine. BHS were doing them last year. Major comedy value.

The moon thing has no legal value you whatsoever, but its still damn funny...lol
How about getting a star named after you? Same kinda idea, but this is actually real. TwigStar (known to those in the business as P50382 or somin...lol).

cheers guys, I've ordered the acre of moon. The guy I got is really into physics and astronomy so I thought it was well suited...hmm wonder what my secret santa's getting me :D

Fraid I have to be a little more boring.

I put down a few books, some DVD's, or a mall gift certificate. The certificate is easy, but I try not to be that boring.

If you have a console you might be able to find some games in the 'Platinum' or equivalent range.

I'm also a bit of a knife fan, still not sure what 20 quid or your workmate might get you.

Cool cufflinks, they're always good for setting of your dress wear, and setting you apart from your peers when you all rent or whatever.

Or something from a shop you like which you can return and have a good look around later.
