P900 Price
I've been quoted 300 as an upgrade quote from Vodafone for a P900
I spend about 30/month on bills etc.
Anyone else selling the P900 for less than 300 on a tarriff costing no more than 30.
I'm not interested in these high tarriff prices for first 3 months etc, I just want a P900 on a 30/month tarriff etc.
Cheers,
Lee.

Will be very expensive. Port your number to O2. Not an incredibly high price: £45/month for 400 minutes, then drop down after three. I know it's not what you really want to do but even paying £15/month extra for the twelve months will work out cheaper than the cost of the phone on ANY network at £30/month contract.
-
Ohhh
Hadn't realised the phone was FREE on the 45/month tarriff, I thought it was reduced on that tarriff.
That really is tempting :)

the best deal i heard so far for the p900,
CocoPops, found your Xmas present? :D
-
Aye, just vodafone are delaying the process.
I was gonna go pick it up today, but vodafone take 48hrs to issue PAC code :( They won't tell me over the phone, even tho I've confirmed who I am etc.
So Hopefully by the weekend, I'll have it.
I've already had one put aside until Tuesday next week :)
-
you getting it from vodafone? you wish to stay with vodafone issit?
the O2 deal is tempting me already.
-
nah, Vodafone won't play ball, best they would do is 250 on the p900 to stay with them etc, can't get any closer to FREE!
So I'm gonna port my number to o2, hence needing a PAC code (the code that allows o2 to take my number to their network etc)
-
I see what you mean by the PAC code now. I never did any number transfer before. Will have a look at O2 shop about the P900 tomorrow (hopefully).
-
Watch out with moving your number over, i have heard that anyone who phones you will still have to go through Vodafone after number has been ported over which causes them to pay the full 40 or 50p per min for phoning another network if they are on O2; this also works in the opposite direction with yourself. I would check with them that by moving the number it also moves the network - it can be a bit funny (My m8 nearly got stung when moving to O2)
-
I've ported my number form Orange to Vodaphone without problems.
-
Yeah, my other half ported her number from Voda to Cellnet before as well without problems.
-
Tom, that simply is not true any more. Only the extremely old first-generation PAYG sims/phones would suffer from anything like that. Nowadays it isn't a problem - I should know, I've ported/migrated/reported my number across three different networks and never had a problem!
