2 weeks with hexus

hi everyone.

just thought i would jot down some notes from a totally new members point of view.

1. at first it seemed i did not know where to look or what to do. hopefully i am gradually getting the hang of things.
2. the technical help is excellent. all people who have "the knowledge" i take my hat of to you.
3. i feel guilty taking all the information and not giving back on the technical side.(i am trying to make up for this by giving consumer hints on other forum pages. my day job is working at the citizens advice bureau)
4. i love some of the funny avatars.
5. is it mainly chaps on the net or are there many ladies?
6. please bear with all new people as we slowly get up to speed.

Well thanks for the comments. Always good to have fresh blood..

Don't worry about the lack of techincal information giving - everyone has their own things to give to the forum and Hexus is about more than just IT - plus when you have your own query and it's answered you're in a good position to help anyone else who has the same question. Also I think having someone who works for the CAB is very helpful for any forum!

As with all things IT there are more chaps here, but there are a couple of chapesses.
