A girl i used to work with announced to the office one day that she had gone beyond having blonde moments, and instead just has moments of genius. the remaining times she was permenantly blonde.

i hear don one of those energy adverts that u need to turn tv off to save energy not on standby... Whats the point i nstandby then. how annoying if everytime u get in bed to watch tv u think, oh ****, turned it off by the tv

why dont they force tv makers to make a better standby mode then?
ir recievers can't take up that much juice ffs!

Which they don't.... not that you 'charge' the magnets.
I was once asked if ships float when they're not turned on by a blonde friend.
its next to nothing in most cases. my 36" crt uses <1W on standby, or under 1% of a decent lightbulb.
