I thought the New Yorkers were funny (to be laughed at!) but it also shows you that despite what they like to make out they are not the friendliest people in the world. Some of them immediatley returned threats and intimidation to a greeting (though admitedly it was over friendly).

Jews wouldn't be friendly they love having a good laugh at themselves something which a lot of people everywhere should learn.

I think one of my favourite bits was the bear in the ice cream van, though it was scripted was very funny!

About right yeah. Made me laugh a few times, like the part when he's staying at the Jewish womans house, and he does a bit to camera in the middle of the night, by torchlight, holding his money.

Not brilliant though. I'm sure Bond is better.

he did take pretty much complete advantage of the jewish family and the dinner party people, who seemed like nice people tbh

Yeah Bond will be better if you like James Bond movies. If you went to Borat to see James Bond style movie you must have been disappointed, still he does have dark hair :-p

I saw it and quite enjoyed it - some bits were obviously real and others were a bit staged - I thought the New Yorkers were amongst the funniest too.

I'm not a big fan of comedy by embarrassment but overall it wasn't quite as cringeworthy as I anticipated. Worth seeing.

I'm looking forward to Bond, I think DC will be better than most people expect.

I went to see it last night with a mate, and I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time.

It was totally stupid, but so are most of my favorite films (Naked Gun, Airplane, Spy Hard) and I loved it. The fight scene had people rolling in the isles.

I have to say the fight scene was perhaps the most grotesque cinema moment I can remember in a very, very long time...

I saw it the other day, I can safely say it is the best movie I have ever seen. I never stopped laughing all the way through, neither did the other people in the cinema. I can't explain how funny it is, but everyone should go out and see it!...... unless your female, jewish or black.

Just been to see it, and I must admit recalling segments with friends in the taxi on the way back was funnier than the movie - and I did laugh at most of it.

The only thing I did question, was how much of it was staged, and how much was actually off the cuff? Few bits of the film made me think perhaps not is all as it seems...

Yeah that got me thinking.. the bit with the ice cream truck and the bear, when the sirens go on and all the kids come up to the ice cream truck then run away... that looked very much staged.

Also, the kidnapping of Pamela Anderson bit, that bit looked very very real - but I just can't believe he did that.. that makes me wonder if that was staged too - but the reaction of everyone else around was extremly shocked...
It took security a while to grab hold of Borat too!
