    Is this worth buying

I'm poor yet need a new power supply i intend to upgrade soon. To a over clocked e6300 and that asrock agp ddr m/b (check my spec) as this is the most economical performance upgrade for me, in the future yet i want to buy the psu now as mine is appalling.

    Is it Tooo cheap...

Wouldn't have it in the same room as my new PC to be honest. twice the price http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=228620 but more then twice the quality. Will last you a long time too.

No. Get yourself a decent lower powered good quality one, the cheap high powered ones might look a bargain, but they wont supply good clean power, which is what you need if you want to overclock, and when they die (which they do), they tend to take your other expensive bits with them.

nope, as has been said, the Hiper is a much better choice if you need that much power, or if not, like Clunk said, a lower power Tagan or Seasonic would be your best bet

You might be better off grabbing a second hand one. You should be able to pick up an Enermax noisetaker 485w for that much, and thats a pretty good psu.

don't like ebay or dealing with people in general, I'd rather just buy it bad experience's in the past.

    Company's are easier.

Once you get 50 posts - use the Hexus.Classifieds (wanted) forum - you'll get someone who is a member of the community rather than a random ebay seller - or if not, wait for someone to sell something you like the look of

You really aren't going to get a decent 500w PSU for £30. If you need less power, something like a 330w Tagan may be right up your street.

it's a false economy buying a cheap psu, you will end up with all sorts of problems including the possiblity of destroying the rest of your components
as has been said above get a decent psu make, seasonic fsp etc
