Every single episode was top quality. £20 well spent IMO..
Anyone else watched this one? (which I am sure there's plenty)

I've seen a few episodes before, but is that all much the boxset is now? Bargain!
Band of Brothers is awesome and 20 notes for the boxset is a steal, i paid over £60 for it for my mum when it came out :undecided
yea.. got it from Virgin Fargate Sheffield last Saturday..
I saw it for £19.99 on the bench, just took it and paid..
Bargain for £20, it's a great series.
Wow that is cheap.
My girlfriend bought it for me for Xmas a couple of years ago. I think it was about £50 odd then and that was before the tinned box.
I love that series to death and is best watched at high volume :)
Toby mate, I'm shocked. I thought you of all people would have watched this to death! Actually your a CS addict arn't you? *sigh* explains everything.
Saw it on TV when it originally aired. It's awesome, may have to ask for it for Christmas, especially as it's such a bargain now!
Brilliant Bargin!
I loved Band of Brothers, I was working at Virgin when it was released (just before christmas) and all copies we got in sold out instantly. For £20 I think everyone should go buy it :)
tis one of the few series I can watch again and again. Hell, last time I went straight onto wikipedia to see how much of it was true
Yeah excellent series. I bought it in the tinned box set from Safeway (I think) not long after it was released.. well worth the money! (But a bit America saves the world again I thought.. no disrespect intended to any US veterans or their families but you'd think from Hollywood there was no-one else involved but the US!)
they did show bits of how they rescued 200 red devils from german frontlines.. still, the canadians and british frontline over Sword and Juno beach were all pretty neglected..
The british did a pretty good job with Operation Tonga, and again, was not really mentioned..
Oh well, at least its still a very very well made show..
Great series, was really getting into it when our satelitte got hit by lightning and took months to fix and replace :( so only saw about half the series, £20 is a good deal for a bit of catch up :D
You could always save the £20 for your Gran's Xmas Prezzie and catch BOB and many others here....for FREE

ENJOY!! :) :)
Well worth 20 quid, I got it not long after it came out for £50 and it was a good deal then imo, quality show :)
sat down and watched one when I had a spare hour about 6 months ago, ended up watching the whole thing over two days, really good and really addictive :)
Yeah was great. Is this the tin box for £20 or the normal one? Bargain either way
Its a fantastic series, especially with the lights down and in 5.1! Great.
£20 for the normal boxset.. tin boxset went for £29.99 if I remember correctly.. I coudnt be bothered as I already have far too much tin stuff around..
I bought it this time last year for £20. Walked into Virgin... OMG band of brothers tin edition for £20  bought :D
Its incredible :)
you missed a spot. I posted about 2 weeks ago - got 15.99 for tin edition on cd-wow IIRC
:p
well, its Asian region for what I remember.. prefer to have most of my collection R2
Watched it on tv when it was on originally and im in the process of watching it again now. Sounds much better on 5.1 than just the normal tv :D
I found a R1 copy (actually was a swap for my R2 cuz his Dads player needed R2), and this one has DTS :) which is nice :)
Worth searching out if you are also a DTS nut like me.
Hmmm, well lessee, I've watched it somewhere around 11 times or so. I have the tin box set. They DID take some liberties with the truth; such as the Eagles Nest, which was in actuality bombed out before the troops got there. The 101st did get there first though.
This'n ranks right up there along with the "Civil War" that Ken Burns put out. I also have the entire set of "Victory At Sea" which came out ages ago. It's all in B/W and is a redone group of the original TV series. Grainy, old and very spotty quality but still is good to watch for the historical way the war was presented.
It is probably the best tv series i have ever watched!
For those who like it you should know that the creaters are making another due out next year based on the pacific war instead of the european one :)
I can't wait for it!
