I doubt that would work here, cause you still get retard drivers.

Its bad enough with them, roundabouts are a free for all and a red traffic light just means "boot it "to some now!

I saw this on TV a while back, apparently it really does work, because everyone instantly becomes the worlds most careful driver. The got rid of the guy waving the red flag so maybe the signals are next.

I cant see it working it the very busiest places, but most places it would.

We have some similar systems back at home. We have something called a "filter", when you approach it, the first person gets to go, then you go in sequential order. It works very well and gets traffic moving faster than traffic lights.

They should do away with junctions altogether IMO. Just have one long road that connects everywhere. Mind you, it might take a while to get back home.

they've recently added MORE traffic lights to one road in Liverpool - and it's not for a junction, it's for a bus lane... only problem is that the bus lane is only a bus lane for around 2 hours of the day, so whenever one lane is red all the cars go to the green lane, and vice versa! It's completely rediculous!
