Help me clean my monitor!

Getting sick and tired of using a tissue and my spittle to clean my TFT. I bought some £10 crap which worked horribly. Anyone know of some stuff I can grab cheaply to keep my monitor spick and span?

Tried most household liquids which are safe to use but most only keep the screen clean for about a day...

I'm looking for something that works in the same sense as a dust cleaner, and will help prevent the screen from smudging and accumulating dirt..if there is such a product.

Mr Muscle for windows* works for me. Spray it onto the kitchen paper and not directly on the screen though.

could i mix it 50:50 with wine, for my linux machine?

That PC clean stuff from scan works great as well and nice and cheap.

You can buy packs of about 50 wipes from Currys and places, just don't go for any that don't say TFT in case they contain alcohol and get your screen drunk.

Glasses cleaner from opticians works a treat I find (lots of them say suitable for PC screens as well).

I've got that TrueBright glassy style coating on my laptop screen and it keeps it "blinging".
