haven't got a pic.. but i was training for the Vierdaagse walk (100miles in 4 days) and there was a stretch or road between two small hills (covered in corn) and it looked like the middle of nowhere cos the road bent round them. Anyway, there was a big sign saying Old People Crossing with the stereotyped hunchbacks and walkingsticks. Thought it was hilarious - if i ever see it again i'll deffo take a picture.

There's a sign at the top of the "Eiffel Tower" in Prague, which I thought was erm....male masterbation not permitted...but turned out to be a sensible no bottles sign.![]()

Lol, that reminds of a sign at one of the buildings at Southampton University. Don't have a picture but went:-
SCHOOL OF NURSERY AND MIDWIFERY
Deleveries at rear of building
I wish I'd taken a picture of a sign I saw a few years ago in the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
It was a poster showing a new born baby with the words "The first 3 hours are the most dangerous of your life"
And someone had written underneith
"The last 3 hours aren't very good either"
wow, you gotta love these topics
On the Jordanian/Syrian border, there is a sign that says (english is the international language BTW, so all nations have to some kind of english on their signs) 'Welcome in Syria' .This is actually technically correct in all other languages, but not in English. Also, from the book 'Lost in Translation' (from a suspension bridge signpost or something): "Cars may not engage in intercourse on bridge forward."
I wish I'd taken a picture now...![]()
